# Tiers

Your title in the court determines how much extra Favour you gain. Holding JEST provides
\
both a multiplier and a stipend of Favour each Season (via random snapshots).

**Both the stipend and multiplier scale along a bonding curve, so each step up in holdings raises your Court title and accelerates your growth.**\\

\
Snapshot Mechanic
\
Each Season has 4 random snapshots (times undisclosed and random).
\
At each snapshot, holders receive their stipend.
\
Missing a snapshot = missing that stipend → incentivizes continuous holding.

*Dev’s Note: We do not reduce trading fees for tiers (revenue must remain strong) currently. Instead,*
\
*multipliers inflate Favour from trading/referrals, boosting Spoils share. Stipends give a*
\
*steady floor of value but are balanced so that even light trading beats passive holding.*
\
*Random snapshots prevent last-minute gaming and create consistent holding incentives.*
\
*Buybacks outpace fee reduction due to how AMM LP ratios work.*\
\
*This may change in the future and we may, at any point, decided to reduce fees based on volume or holdings.*
