🧑🎓Onboarding
Prerequisites
A Hyperliquid account with a small balance for testing, keep it under one thousand during the Alpha period.
A fresh wallet for security, do not reuse old keys
Telegram installed and signed in
1) Register on Castellan
Castellan is your valet, it handles account linking and secure handoff to Sceptre.
Open https://t.me/jesterValetBot in Telegram.
Tap Start to initialize the chat.
Follow the prompts to create your profile in Castellan.
Run /menu any time to see available products and quick links.
Notes
Castellan does not need exchange withdrawal access.
Keep all secrets private, only paste what the prompt requests.
Note: Castellan does not require a wallet signature to connect. All of Sceptre’s premium features will automatically work with any wallet linked to your Telegram ID.
2) Hyperliquid perp onboarding process
Perform these steps on the Hyperliquid site or app. This ensures your account is ready for Sceptre.
A) Deposit onto Hyperliquid
Deposit a supported asset. Keep a small buffer for fees and testing. If you are new, a modest amount is best during Alpha.

B) Trade ETH/ USDC on Spot
Place a small market or limit trade on the ETH/USDC spot market (or whatever you deposit). This confirms your account is active. A tiny size is fine.

C) Convert to Perps
Use the Perps | Spot toggle to move your balance into perps. Sceptre trades on perpetual markets, so you need a perps balance.
3) Connect to Sceptre from Castellan
In Castellan, open /menu and choose Sceptre.
Use the provided button or link to open Sceptre.
Tap Start in Sceptre to load the onboarding prompts.
What to expect
Sceptre will ask you to confirm the exchange you plan to use, choose Hyperliquid.
You will complete the Hyperliquid steps below, then return to finish API linking inside Sceptre.
4) Connect API keys inside Sceptre
Return to the Sceptre bot after finishing the Hyperliquid steps.
In Sceptre, run /start and use the securely generated web page to continue onboarding
Follow the prompts to paste your API key and API secret, and to select your API wallet.

If prompted again, complete the Builder Fee approval inside Sceptre to confirm everything is aligned.
Set basic preferences in Settings, for example risk per trade, default leverage, and allowed pairs.
Security
Sceptre requires trade permission and read permission.
Do not enable withdrawal permission on your exchange API keys.
If you ever need to remove access, delete or rotate your keys on Hyperliquid.
5) Run a test trade in Sceptre
Open Settings in Sceptre.
Run a Test Trade and confirm it appears in your Hyperliquid account.

If the test fails
Recheck that your balance is in Perps, not only spot.
Confirm the Builder Fee approval is signed.
Confirm the API wallet in Sceptre matches the one you created.
If an error mentions permissions, recreate your API keys.
6) Good practice during Alpha
Use a fresh wallet, keep funding under one thousand during testing.
Keep your exchange API secret in a safe place.
If you are done testing, consider revoking the keys in Hyperliquid and creating new ones later.
Report issues in the support group with /help. Include the pair, the action, and the timestamp.
7) Quick troubleshooting
No perps balance Convert from spot to perps using the Perps slash Spot control, then try again.
Builder Fee not approved Open Sceptre, run /start or open Settings, complete the Builder Fee approval. You can also confirm inside Hyperliquid.
API key rejected Regenerate API keys on Hyperliquid with read and trade permissions, do not enable withdrawals, paste them into Sceptre again.
Order placed but not visible Refresh the Hyperliquid positions page, confirm you selected the correct wallet, confirm network or server status on your side.
