Overview

Private Automation is a massive step in the Jester Ecosystem, and opens up the door to multiple revenue streams, reduced trading risk, reduced missed trades, and being forced to follow a back-tested strategy. Overall the benefits for our userbase and our overall ecosystem should be substantial.

Due to the nature of algorithmic trading strategies and the competitive edge they provide, it is necessary to exert a certain degree of control over the JESTER auto-trading system. This control serves two crucial purposes:

1. Preventing Abuse: It ensures that industrial or institutional traders are unable to exploit or leech off Jester’s strategies.

2. Supporting the Ecosystem: It guarantees that a portion of the profit generated globally by Jester, whether directly or indirectly, benefits the Jester Ecosystem as a whole.

By maintaining this balance, we can protect the integrity of our trading strategies while fostering a thriving and sustainable ecosystem for all participants.

Goals and Steps

• Handle private key custody or connect DEX/CEX APIs to User Automation.

• Ensure API keys and private data is stored in a safe and secure manner.

• Create a risk management system and trading rules that reduces the risk of significant drawdown, while keeping the doors open for significant upside.

• Collect a performance fee for Buybacks.

Security is a big concern for us, and we are committed to doing this right. The JESTER Vault will come first, as security concerns are less due to the obfuscation of the vault automation software, private API keys, etc.
