Indicator & Settings
1. Indicator Overview
Jester | Infinity provides a comprehensive trading view by consolidating multiple features:
Unified Jester Algo Versions
Entry Markers & Alerts
Dynamic Stop Loss & Take Profit
Support/Resistance Overlays
In short, it’s your all-in-one script for analyzing, tracking, and potentially executing trades if you automate signals through external bots.
2. Navigating the Settings Panel
To open Infinity’s settings, click the gear (⚙) icon next to “Jester | Infinity” in your chart’s top-left corner. You’ll see multiple tabs:
A. Inputs Tab
Selected Jester Version
Switch between older logic (e.g., v1.x) and newer logic (e.g., v2.x). Some users prefer older versions for specific market conditions.
Risk/Position Info (if applicable)
Specify how much risk you typically take per trade. Infinity may auto-calculate SL levels or TP multiples accordingly.
Signal Sensitivity
Adjust thresholds for entry signals. A higher sensitivity might show more frequent signals; a lower setting could filter out choppy setups.
B. Style Tab
Support/Resistance Lines
Toggle these on/off. You can also change line thickness or color.
Entry/Exit Markers
Check or uncheck boxes to display text labels or arrows.
Stop Loss & Take Profit
Show/hide each line if you prefer a cleaner chart.
Color Customization
Infinity may offer color settings for bullish/bearish signals, support/resistance, etc.
C. Visibility Tab (if present)
Decide which timeframes to display Infinity on. This prevents chart clutter on smaller or larger timeframes you rarely trade.
3. Reading the Chart
A. Entry Signals
Long Entry markers might appear as green arrows or labels; Short Entry could be red.
Each signal is triggered when Infinity detects a condition—like a trend pivot or breakout level—based on the selected Jester version.
B. SL & TP Lines
Infinity typically draws Stop Loss just below (long) or above (short) the entry based on your risk settings.
Take Profit lines may include TP1, TP2, or multiple partial exit levels. Watch how the lines shift if the market moves significantly.
C. Support/Resistance Zones
Horizontal zones or lines that update as new pivot highs/lows form. The thickness or brightness might indicate a higher-timeframe area of support/resistance.
4. Best Practices
Confirm with Other Analysis
Infinity simplifies your chart, but you should still cross-check with personal strategy or fundamental insights.
Test Various Versions
Legacy versions (e.g., “Pivot-based,” “Trend-based”) might suit different markets (e.g., crypto vs. forex).
Adjust for Volatility
In highly volatile markets, widen your SL/TP or lower the risk setting to minimize whipsaws.
Stay Updated
Infinity occasionally auto-updates. If new options appear in the settings, give them a test or consult release notes.
5. Tips for Advanced Users
Combine Timeframes
Use Infinity on multiple timeframe charts to see higher-level support/resistance while tracking lower-level entries.
Use Alerts
Right-click on the chart or go to the “Alert” icon (⏰) in TradingView to set up real-time notifications for Infinity signals.
Exporting Data
Premium or VIP users might export data to Oracle for advanced backtesting and summary metrics (optional).
6. Troubleshooting
No Signals Displaying
Check if you have the correct Jester version enabled or if Infinity is turned off for your current timeframe.
Overlap or Chart Clutter
Toggle off certain lines in Style if you prefer a cleaner chart.
Can’t Switch Versions
Ensure your Jester version dropdown is working. If not, reinstall Infinity or contact support.
Different Results from Other Traders
Infinity’s signals may vary slightly based on your risk settings, chart resolution, or if there’s a custom offset. Always confirm your settings match the recommended defaults.
